Thomas Wappat, Ph.D.
Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Wappat brings over 25 years of social and psychological services expertise to his role as Executive Director. He started Phineas Brain & Mind with the vision of delivering best-in-class psychological healthcare and training to patients and their care givers, when an individual’s problems with living, and challenges of identity, stem from the influence of both neurological (brain) and psychological (mind) factors combined. Dr. Wappat holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive, Social, and Developmental Psychology from The New School for Social Research.

Megan brings two decades of professional services and technology strategy executive expertise to her advisory role. She’s designed and implemented growth strategies for service agencies, consulting firms, and clients across multiple industries. She is a member of Chief and Pavilion.

Tiphany brings more than seven years of TBI, and mental health and human services experience, training, and her analytical and strategic systems thinking, to her role as Director of Operations. Tiphany oversees daily operations, and she provides clinician-training, counseling, and independence-training services.

Elizabeth has spent over a decade in medical, human services and educational settings working with families of children and adults with behavioral and/or learning challenges, and with the TBI community in a variety of settings. She is a lecturer of Social Work and a certified School Psychologist. Elizabeth brings her clinical and educational experience, and her expertise in psychological and cognitive and intellectual assessment services, human services program management, and educational law and disability policy, to her role as Director of Clinical Services.
